New Stuff.....again

I got the job at the DEP office. I'll be starting there next Monday. I have one more week at the Fish and Wildlife office...we're doing interviews tomorrow, so I may have a day or two to at least show the new person around.

With this new job it looks like I won't be moving after all, at least for now. I will have full medical benefits, paid leave every year, and paid holidays...so yay!

I got a sony e-reader. I can take over 1,500 books with me anywhere now with the built in memory, plus more with expandable memory cards. So now I need to start expanding my library. Any one know of some really great books that are available in pdf? I need some new authors. I already have all of the Laurell K Hamilton in hard copy (but a new one is coming out on Feb 2 that I'll get in e-format). I also like Nora Roberts/JD Robb, and Christine Feehan (although I don't have many of her books), so something along those lines for new books to check out, as well as general suggestions for new genres would be greatly appreciated.

I caved on the vegan front. Still not eating meat, but trying to find yummy things to eat when you don't like to cook is hard...finding yummy vegan things is harder. So I'm back to eating dairy.

Not much else is going on. Most of it is just the same shit, different day. But at least things are looking up in the job department. With more income coming int things can only get better...I hope.

Ebooks? Lord I can help with that. I've got 3500+.

LKH is great. I've got all of her stuff - Blake and Gentry - and will be adding Flirt at release. I've also got all the Robb books - next is getting released Feb 23, I think - and all the Feehan in all 4 series she writes. I find myself turning to Feehan again and again. I HIGHLY recommend Feehan's Ghostwalker series! I don't have all the Nora Roberts stuff, but I've got a ton of it.

Based on the authors you listed I can also recommend Karen Marie Moning, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Janet Evanovich (hilarious!), Amanda Quick/Jayne Anne Krentz (same chick, with Quick writing funny Victorians), and maybe some Katie MacAlister and Kerrelyn Sparks. If you like period stuff I'd also add Julia Quinn and Stephanie Laurens to the list.

And I'd of course add all the Stephanie Meyers, but I'm a HUGE Twilighter, so...

And yes, I've got everything I've listed, and I can get it to you in whatever format you like. PDFs are easy, but they're bulky. Would you rather the native Sony format?

Wow...that'd be great. I'd love to get some of those...or all of them, lol.
I've actually read most of the Ghost Walkers series, and the two shifter books. And the Sisters trilogy...I guess I have read a lot of Feehan's stuff. I haven't read as many of the the Carpathian stuff though.
Thank you so much for the offer of the books. I know you've probably got a lot going on with the move back to Seattle, so I really appreciate it.
